Seventy people attended the first event of the OneVoice Europe International Education Program tour. Exeter University is one of the centers of Middle East studies and the event drew the attention of both the Jewish and Palestinian societies.

“I felt more challenged because of the audience but felt that we did a good job for the first visit of the tour,” said Beata Krants, a youth leader from OneVoice Israel. “While it was at times tough, I felt that it was important to give a real picture of Israeli Jewish society.”
"I was so happy to meet many people who felt passionate about the conflict and to help them understand the reality on the ground,” said Dina Jaber, a youth leader from OneVoice Palestine. “I told them what they should do to help establish a state of Palestine alongside a state of Israel and how quickest to end the occupation.”
“I feel that this is the right approach moving forward when talking about the conflict, I would be happy to be involved in future OneVoice events,” said Sam Palmer, a third year student in history and politics at Exeter University.
“I think it was a good event that started a really important debate on campus,” said Aurelie F, the chair of Exeter Friends of Palestine.
