Alexander, famous for his role as George Costanza on Seinfeld, is a member of OneVoice’s Entertainment Council and has been traveling to Israel since 1990.
AbdelRahman, age 28, and Lupo, age 31, are OneVoice Youth Leaders who facilitate town hall meetings aimed at educating the respective populations on prospects for a two-state solution. They also have hosted one joint meeting in Jerusalem.
In today’s meeting with Lugar, the Youth Leaders discussed the impacts of their town hall meetings and how majorities of Israelis and Palestinians favor a two-state solution. In fact, Lugar cited a OneVoice poll at a May 14 Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearing, saying, “There is substantial support within Israeli and Palestinian societies for a resolution to the conflict. A recent poll, published by OneVoice, found that 74 percent of Palestinians and 78 percent of Israelis want a two-state solution.”
On Monday, Lugar met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and discussed working toward a two-state solution.
According to its website, OneVoice is an international mainstream grassroots movement with roughly equal numbers both in Israel and in Palestine that aims to amplify the voice of Israeli and Palestinian moderates. More information on the group is available at http://www.onevoicemovement.org/.
Press Release issued by Senator Richard G. Lugar's office.

I wish this movement to be successful and help in making the two countries peaceful.
