OneVoice IEP tour to UK schools
As part of its International Education Program, OneVoice Europe invited Ana Lipnik from Israel and Abeer Al Natsheh from Palestine to address students at Universities known to have high levels of tension between the different student societies over the Palestinian – Israeli conflict. Both Ana and Abeer delivered powerful messages and reflected what Palestinian and Israeli grassroots really want; an end to the conflict based on a two state solution.
From the 10th to the 14th of November, Ana and Abeer reached out to over 500 students and activists at the following Universities:
• Glasgow University
• Leeds University
• Manchester University
• London School of Economics
• Nottingham University
In most cases, it was the first time that the Palestinian and Jewish or Israeli societies would gather in one room to discuss ending the Conflict. The events were all very constructive and a clear interest in forming OneVoice student chapters was expressed by the audience at each University.
