... and another at the LSE
This event was very different than any other event that OneVoice has conducted on its educational program. The event brought the Palestinian and Israeli societies together for the first time and joined them on one panel. The panel also included Dr. John Rose, an academic and advocate for a one state solution. This was a very bold initiative by OneVoice to join these people all together and challenge them with the two state solution as the choice of both the Palestinian and Israeli people. Ana Lipnik and Abeer Al-Natsheh gave very powerful presentations which were followed by an introduction to OneVoice by Hitham Kayali. This event included around 130 students, the majority of whom showed clear support to OneVoice and would like to get involved in more activities. The event started with the University Vice Chancellor thanking OneVoice for making this event possible. This was the first time the two student societies talk about the issue rather than communicate though protests and blame from one side of campus to another. The audience was inclusive of all political and religious backgrounds.
