Whew, has it already been almost two weeks since the blogger meet-up here in New York? Time has been flying, but I think I finally have a minute to tell you what happened. While we spent the night talking about OneVoice, blogs, ending the conflict in Israel & Palestine, the real theme of the night was serendipity.
The stars aligned on September 24th and Craig Newmark and Arianna Huffington were both in town from California. They acted as hosts for the evening and spoke alongside Daniel Lubetzky about the importance of our grassroots movement. Sharoz and Harris from Think Tank 3 let us use their store-front think space for the night and even got Duvel to donate a few cases of beer.
We were joined uncharacteristically early in the night by about 30 people including bloggers, supporters, friends and staff. We’ve been trying to collect all of the posts and photographs of the night and wanted to share the posts with you. Did I miss you? Leave a comment and let me know that you’ve posted.
Dan Sieradski, the founder of Jewschool and blogger at Orthodox Anarchist, took beautiful photographs that will give you a sense of the evening. Esther Kustanowitz wrote about it on the blog for ROI120, a conference that Leah Jones from Edelman attended this year and Dan, Aryeh Goldsmith and Will Levin, the Jewish Robot, attended in the summer of 2006. Etty from NuYorker and Adam from NuYorker and Heeb Magazine also joined us.
Miriam, who is also a OneVoice staffer, was there to represent the group blog Mideast Youth and Nadia Gergis came from the group blog Arabisto. (Nadia came on her birthday while she was on vacation in New York. Serendipity again at work!) Another group blogger who joined us was Michelle Haimoff from The Panelist who shared some of David Neubert’s photos.
Those are the posts we’ve seen so far. Thank you again for everyone who showed up, I know I haven’t included our whole guest list here. As we see more posts, we’ll let you know here.

After hearing you had invited the Israeli singer Ehud Banai to sing in a concert in Tel Aviv I had decided to withdraw andy support and sympathy for your organization.
Mr. Banai had just came back from a performance in a extreme right wing settlement in the west bank.
He should be banned, not suppoerted!

thats silly
the whole manifesto of the organisation is to connect right and left into a national movement..
why wouldnt you encourage someone who sang in a settlement to sing in support of a two state solution if that is your belief?
what do you think the real impact of your decision actually is? does it serve your vision?
hmm not sure..

First of all, I have never signed into a blog before so heaven only knows if this is going anywhere. This kind of grassroots supports for dialogue toward a solution to the long standing Israeli-Palestinian dispute(s) is very encouraging. I was especially pleased to see such knowledgeable and level-headed people put their name on the line with this effort.

Israel-Arab Peace Plan Principles
Starting in 1948 from very first day of recreation of the State of Israel on the part of Israel territory, Arab countries waged several wars to eliminate Israel from her historic land. Israel won all wars and now Arab countries propose a peace agreement with Israel under conditions, which they intended to dictate. However, only Israel, who won all the wars and defeated Arab countries, has legal rights to formulate and dictate peace agreement terms and conditions, which, in general, shell include the following provisions:
1. Palestinian Arabs must compensate Jews for damages caused by Jews massacres in Palestine before WWII under Britain supervision, for providing Hitler with idea of Final Solution and for taking part in implementing the idea.
2. Arab countries must compensate Israel for damages inflicted on Israel during wars launched by Arab countries.
3. Arab countries must compensate about 1 million Jews expelled from Arab countries between 1948 and 1953, where they lived for centuries, for violation of international law and stilling properties.
4. Arab countries must recognize “Article 24 of the 1964 PLO charter addressed to UN, which stipulates: Palestinian Arabs do not claim Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and Gaza their territories”.
5. Arab countries must comply with Geneva Convention, which recognizes Israel rights on Gaza, Judea and Samaria, historic Jewish land liberated by Israel in 1967 war from Jordan and Egypt occupation.
6. Arab countries must recognize Jerusalem as historic Israel capital.
7. Egypt and Jordan are obligated to relocate Palestinian Arabs (their former citizens) from Gaza Egypt), Judea and Samaria (Jordan) inside their territories within 1 (negotiable) year term.
8. Arab countries have no right to develop or acquire WMD or weapon that can be used against Israel.
If any Arab country denies this peace terms and conditions, Israel has full legal rights for preemptive strike against this country using all available military power. All islamofascism organizations operating on Israel territory under Palestinian Arabs occupation, such as PLO&Fatah (created after WWII on the principles of Hitler’s ideology and with close ties to Nazi party), Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al Agsa Brigade must be totally, unconditionally and immediately exterminated. All other palestinian arabs must be expelled from Israel back to the countries of their origin.

Wow Mark! Great idea for another few centuries of bloodshed! Why not have the Palestinians all put "I Love (Star of David)" on their cars too?
On side must completely destroy the other, or they will have to stop shooting each other. Or.. well we have what we have now.

People deserve wealthy life and credit loans or just short term loan would make it much better. Just because freedom bases on money.
