Hundreds of OneVoice activists lead Tens of Thousands of
Palestinians to the ballots to vote for moderation in PLC elections
Amidst great uncertainty and very high stakes OneVoice activists strived to make a difference. In the final hours of the OneVoice "Get Out The Vote" campaign hundred of supporters canvassed the streets, on cars, camels, and horses as they encouraged citizens to get out and vote to get out and vote for a moderate agenda with loudspeakers, banners , flags , flyers and balloons. OneVoice also set up three tents in Al-Manara (Ramallah's central square) providing refreshments for voters and materials about the organization and its work to end the conflict with Israel and achieve a vibrant independent Palestinian State via negotiations rather than violence.

Over the past few months, OneVoice has held many conferences and democracy festivals in large cities like Jericho, Bethlehem ,Hebron, Qalqilya, Nablus, Tul Qarem as well as in small villages like Salfit, al-Ram, Beyt Furik and the Al Jilazun refugee camp with the aim of getting Palestinians to sign the One Voice Mandate - which calls for the advancement of democracy, for ending the 'anarchy of arms', and engagement in negotiations with Israel for a peaceful conflict resolution.
A similar campaign is being planned for the upcoming Israeli elections, with an emphasis on a "Get Out The Vote" campaign after the lowest ever turn-out in the last Israeli elections.
